The Wonderscope Young Professionals Board (YPB) is a strategic initiative designed to engage emerging leaders in advancing Wonderscope’s mission: inspiring play, growing young minds, and helping every child thrive.
The YPB serves several important functions, with its primary focus being the planning and execution of our signature fundraising event, Eat Drink Play. The board will also host two engagement, fundraising, and networking events throughout the year, bringing fresh energy, new ideas, and exciting opportunities to connect with our community.
As ambassadors for the families and young professionals who make up a significant part of the population we serve, YPB members are helping expand Wonderscope’s reach and increase community awareness. Their involvement strengthens our capacity while providing valuable insight into programming, outreach, and engagement strategies.
The Young Professionals Board represents an investment in the future of Wonderscope. By cultivating relationships with emerging leaders today, we are building a strong foundation for tomorrow’s organizational leadership, while expanding our ability to serve children and families across Kansas City.
Be on the lookout for the great things this amazing group will be doing! We are excited to have them join us in this important work.
