Director of Development

Full-time

The Regnier Family Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and creative Director of Development. The Director of Development reports to the Executive Director and serves on the senior management team.  With a new museum, Wonderscope is seeking a development leader to lead all development and event activities and continue the growth of the organization. Welcome Desk Attendant

Weekdays (Tuesday-Friday)

The Welcome Desk Attendant serves Wonderscope’s visitors and members through quality personal interaction and effectively supports and executes front desk administration tasks. Positions begin at $13.00 hourly. Click here for a full job description.

Weekday Guest Services Team Member

Part-time (Weekdays)

Wonderscope’s Guest Services Team Members are responsible for making guests and members feel welcome and safe in all exhibit spaces. Duties include interacting with guests/members and addressing any visitor questions or concerns, monitoring exhibits for safe play and tidiness, and assisting all staff in keeping the museum clean and sanitized. The ideal Guest Services Team Member is outgoing, responsible, and enjoys a fast-paced environment full of children and their adults. Click here for a full job description.

Weekend Guest Services Team Member

Part-time (Weekends)

The Weekend Guest Services Team Member works to provide excellent customer service to guests and members on Saturdays and Sundays while maintaining the museum floor to the highest standards. Click here for a full job description.

Positions begin at $13.00 per hour. Morning, afternoon, and full day shifts available. 

Maintenance Technician

Part-time

The Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional museum environment by performing maintenance tasks in the museum’s public spaces, exhibits, and workshop. Click here for a full job description.

Wonder Camp Guide

Seasonal, Summer

Wonder Guides ensure the success of camps by assisting Camp Leaders in all camp activities, including drop off and release, guided projects and play, and other essential camp duties. This position requires full Monday-Friday availability from May 31-August 5, 2022 (with a one week break during the week of July 4). Click here for a full job description.

Wonder Camp Leader

Seasonal, Summer

Wonderscope Children’s Museum is searching for Camp Leaders for its summer Wonder Camp. Camp Leaders are responsible for creating a meaningful camp experience through the daily activities of Wonder Camps for children aged 4-10 by leading age-appropriate, theme-based activities that promote positive growth and intentional learning.
