The Rockhurst High School Lion Dance Team will return to Wonderscope on February 20, 2026, from 10 – 11 AM! Join us for a vibrant and festive Lunar New Year event that promises to be a delight for little eyes and ears.
The Lion Dance Team, a dynamic group from the Rockhurst Ni Hao (Chinese) Club, will showcase their talent with traditional 2-person Chinese lion dances and dragon dances, complete with colorful costumes and the energetic beats of drums. This year’s celebration will also encourage audience participation, making it a truly immersive experience for all ages.
In addition to the performances, you and your little ones can participate in a baby lion mask workshop led by the Wonderscope team. You’ll have the chance to create your own unique mask to take home as a keepsake of this special occasion (while supplies last)!
